About The Icelandic Gin And Whisky Tasting Experience

In our Distillery tour and Icelandic gin and whisky tasting experience you will have the opportunity to sample Iceland's first and only whisky, as well as sampling our premium pot distilled gin and our version of old style Icelandic Brennivín. Learn about the processes involved in creating Icelandic spirits from Icelandic barley. All handcrafted from native herbs and botanicals.

We are Iceland's’ first and only whisky distillery and a perfect destination for whiskey fans and for anyone with an insterest in Icelandic Spirits. We are also the only distillery producing spirits from 100% Icelandic barley. We make whisky, premium gin and our own old style traditional Icelandic Brennvín.

The unique taste of our products comes from hardy and slow growing barley grown in volcanic soil at the Arctic Circle. The Icelandic barley is low in sugars resulting in the usage of 50% more barley per bottle, bringing even more of the sharp taste of the Icelandic summer to each bottle.

The uniqueness of Icelandic ingredients, our passion and dedication (it took 4 years and 163 trial distillations as well as aging and maturation testes to perfect our whisky´s recipe) have resulted in recognition from all over the world from enthusiast to experts:

We take pride in hand crafting our whiskey and spirits. From growing our own barley to designing and building our own pot stills, every step is important to us for delivering the best possible spirit.

Experience the Spirit of Iceland. It is a perfect destination for whiskey fans and for anyone with an interest in Icelandic Spirits.

“Amazing deal for great spirits and connecting with a family run distillery!”

“The whole experience was casual as we joined a group of about 10 others guests. There were over 5+ samples of amazing whiskey, gin and brennivín. It was intimate and learning about the roots of this small batch distillery was so inspiring and heart felt. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to do something off the beaten path and especially anyone who loves to drink!”

“Worth the discovery”

“My wife arranged a tour and sampling of the only whiskey distillery in Iceland. The offer whiskeys, gins, aquavit and a sweet mulled liquor. You get to sample them all. You also have a fantastic tour that is done in both educational and humorous way making it very fun and interactive as you are encouraged to ask questions. They do not even have to be about the process, it could be about the Icelandic football team or best bar in Reykjavik.
Definitely check it out but take a taxi or walk so you can enjoy all the samples.”
