I will greet you at my Saloon after opening hours for an exclusive experience together. Our passion for people, service, hair, music and of course beer and whisky come all together when we greet our guests and tell them our stories while tasting some the worlds best libations.
We will tell you a little about our Saloon, its history, and guide you through and taste three delicious Icelandic alcoholic drinks from our local brewers and distillers. We might find some very authentic and tasty “snacks” to nibble on while we enjoy each other’s company exclusively in the cozy and cool environment of the Saloon.
After the tasting, the bar will be open only for you if you are in the mood for purchasing more drinks or anything else from our vast selection of whiskeys and beers. Some of which are very hard to find anywhere else. Also, we will share with you insights into interesting places to visit.
Another year has flown by here at our Hair, Beer & Whisky Saloon. We had fun moments with those who came to our experience and we are excited to welcome new travelers for more beers, whisky and stories.

About the host
I established my shop in April 1999 and run it along with my wife Elísabet. We became the first salon in Iceland to get a liquor license and thus combining all of our passions under one roof.
Being the 3rd generation hairdresser/barber since my family’s salon was first open in 1970 by my grandmother and mother.

Our Saloon is a daytime operated barbershop/hair salon/whisky bar. The opening hours are 10:00-18:00 weekdays for hair services if you are interested :)
