There is no better way to experience a country and its culture than visiting a local family and having a home made dinner.
We are delighted to invite you to our home and welcome you to share the way a local family lives in Iceland and try a modern day Icelandic dinner.
You will have a three course, home made dinner, while enjoying an open conversation about Iceland, Icelandic food and cuisine, Icelandic way of life, and anything else you would like to talk about.
The dinner menu:
Appetizer
Bacon wrapped dates, grilled. Surprisingly delicious.
Main course
Icelandic lamb, Sunday dinner style, potatoes, salad and sauce.
Dessert
Sticky taffy pudding and Icelandic whiskey.

Home brewed beer

About the host
I´m a 34 year old mechanical engineer working in geothermal energy.
My wife is a Distillery manager in the first whisky distillery in Iceland. We have 3 children. We like to meet new people and share our home and dinner table.
